I Am a Citizen
digital prints, site specific, 250×210 cm. 2014

In Georgia live children with no ID cards, which causes for them problematic topics such as healthcare, education, law issues and etc. In 2013 non-profit organizations AhuAhu Foundation, CSDC and Helping Hand in collaboration USAID started advocating campaign and preparing number of recommendations for government. I was commissioned to create the series reflecting daily life of children with no ID cards. Posters are based on found wall drawings by the children from the rehabilitation centers, subsequently presented in city’s one of the main metro station hall – Freedom Square, where the homeless children are concentrated and observed by passers on the daily basis.
